Residential Grants
For prospective and new electric car owners, there are rebates, grants and promotions you can take advantage of when purchasing an electric vehicle. There are also programs available for the purchase and installation of a residential charging station in your area.

Purchase of an electric vehicle:
Through the Roulez électrique program, the Quebec government offers a rebate of up to $8,000 on the purchase or lease of a new electric vehicle. The rebate is available to individuals, businesses, organizations and municipalities.
The maximum rebate of $8,000 for the purchase of an electric vehicle will continue until at least March 31, 2022.
Purchase of a residential charging station:
The Quebec government is offering financial assistance of $600 for the purchase of a Level 2 residential charging station and its installation by a certified electrician. Proof of installation is now required to obtain this financial assistance.
The City of Sherbrooke offers financial assistance of up to $300 for the purchase and installation of a residential charging station.
The City of Joliette offers a grant for the purchase and installation of a residential charging station equal to 25% of the total cost before taxes, up to a maximum of $250.
The City of Granby reimburses 25% of the purchase and installation cost of a residential electric vehicle charging station, to a maximum of $250 per station.
The City of Prévost is offering its residents a $100 municipal grant for the purchase and installation of a residential electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle charging station.
The City of Dorval is offering a 50% rebate on the cost of installing a home charging station, up to a maximum of $500.
The City of Nicolet is offering a $250 grant for the installation of a home charging station.
Marieville offers a $250 grant to its residents for the purchase and installation of a charging station.
